| ABOUT MYSELF: I graduated from Drake University (Des Moines, Iowa) in May
1974. It was by the skin of my teeth; I helped raise six children and worked full-time. I didn't take
the easy courses. I had some professors who took a lot of interest in me. After I graduated, I kept studying
on my own. I could go at a slower pace. I gave myself time to think about what I was studying.
I now better understand what my professors were trying to teach me. |
|
When I was going to school, I wished that I was smarter, but God and my professors were
preparing me to understand the difficulty that some students may have. I prayed to God to help me get through
school; I promised Him that I would help others who are having a hard time. I am trying to fulfill my promise;
I am helping men at Newton Correctional Center get their GEDs.
I am NOT a teacher; I AM a tutor who understands your difficulties in learning.
Having been a 32° Mason since about 1974, I believe in our public school system. I am willing to help make
our public school system the best for every child. I am a Shriner because I believe in the staff at the Shrine
Hospitals who are trying to help children. Like any good Shriner, everything on this website is free to everyone
--- students, teachers, those going back to school, and those with inquisitive minds. It is what being a Mason
is all about --- helping mankind, especially our children.
If there is something that you don't understand, send me an e-mail; it will be kept just between us. If there
is an area not clear to you, please send me an e-mail to see if I can help. If there is some area you would like
to see added, send me an e-mail; I'll try to get to it. Just remember, I am working four 10 hour days; I might
be a little slow anwering your e-mail (ha). If you wish to point out a needed correction, please send me an e-mail.
If I should get many e-mails in a certain area, I will either correct my site, or I will try to write on that area.
I will try to help in new areas that you want. I will try to answer your corrections and e-mail within 48 hours,
don't think that I forgot you if it takes me a little longer.
